1-Track Training

Become an Acu Detox Specialist in a one-time training experience.

1-track training incorporates both the classroom material as well as clinical practice of the treatment. There are 2 places that offer these all-in-one trainings: International Acupuncture in Dallas and the NADA annual conference. Training at Lincoln Recovery Center is no longer available.

  1. Annual Conference: NADA organizes a 5-day pre-conference training hosted by a local agency in order to help support and enhance the efforts of local programs. Although the focus is on building capacity, out-of-state applicants are welcome and encouraged to participate. In fact, this is a unique training opportunity because it brings together trainers from around the country so that the trainee learns from multiple perspectives. To be eligible for the ADS certificate, you must also attend the 2-day conference

    Dallas,
TX. Board member and Training Chair Susana Mendez leads an intensive 3-day training every other month. If interested, contact Susana Mendez directly at (214) 566-0149 or email her at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . Learn more about her work at www.internationalacupuncture.com.

Lincoln Recovery Center (LRC) is the location where acu detox was developed in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Trainings at Lincoln were discontinued in December 2010.

See Training Calendar for dates and venues to receive training.
